Florida officials led the media on a tour of their abandoned airfield turned internment camp yesterday, in what DeSantis would really like you to call “Alligator Alcatraz.”
An estimated 1,000 people will be living there in makeshift tents, guarded primarily by the dangerous animals known to roam the Florida Everglades.
And for Florida — that seems to be a selling point.
DeSantis plans to spend $450 million per year in taxpayer money for this latest stunt.
A more appropriate term for this death camp would be Alligator Auschwitz.
