A Whistleblower's story starts long before the fame and the brutal, inevitable war over who is believed.
I met Josh Fox while I was still an undergrad at Syracuse University more than a decade ago. He was touring his Academy Award-nominated and Emmy-winning documentary "Gasland." I interviewed him for the student paper, and we became friends.
Fast forward to 2020, and I'm caught in the middle of a political war over science and truth in Florida after being ousted from my position managing the state's COVID-19 data and surveillance systems. I reunited with Josh Fox that year to officially start developing this film.
Over the past 2+ years, we've raised early funding, shot, edited and nearly finished this movie in partnership with Delirio Films.
Today, we launched a crowdfunding campaign for "Whistleblower" to wrap up production and bring the movie to audiences nationwide.
