The Lie Cult: Musk, Hungary and the Disinfo Dolts

Ever since Elon Musk turned off the open data pipeline to Twitter/X, tracking disinformation has become more difficult.

The work-around is surprisingly easy for anecdotal evidence, though: look at the profiles of Musk and a handful of other known propaganda accounts, and you’ll know exactly what kinds of lies are trending.

This week, Elon posted a lot of immigration lies, fanned the flames of antisemitism, and posted a photo of himself with Hungarian President Katalin Novak.
