Earlier this year, the state tried to force Rebekah to drop her whistleblower complaint in a threatening, possibly illegal plea offer.
In exchange for completely dismissing the charge of allegedly "exceeding authorized access of computer systems" in regard to a text message sent to state employees asking them to "be honest" and "speak out," the state demanded Rebekah:
1. Pay the police more than $20,000 for the cost of the unlawful raid on her home,
2. Drop her whistleblower case,
3. Destroy evidence the state had earlier (and falsely) claimed she never had access to,
