It seems the student thinks she deserves a pass for being a Christian. Does she believe that a student who is self-described heathen deserves a pass for writing a scathing criticism of the Christian text, reversing Satan or the "principal of darkness" for the "principal of light" Or a student who recites Hitler in place of Jesus?

Teasing and bullying is possibly the first formative experience of a child or young adult on their way through school. What about summer camp? What about structural inequalities in a society overtaken by the need to drive cars in the last hundred years? Do neighborhoods play a role in providing initial socialization and storefront employment? So Samantha Fulnecky wants to understand the impulse to gender roles as arising from within our hearts and minds under the influence of a God with plans, rather than take up several weeks of time parsing second-hand information and non-experiential data on her way through school, possibly the sole route provided her by this machine-dominated culture, to a prescribed normality? I'd applaud her for being luckier than most who are up against it, if I didn't worry what her role as a psychologist might fine her doing to other kids with psych meds.

American exit: A new poll suggests 40% of US women aged 15-44 would move abroad if they could. Hear from some of those who’ve already taken the plunge.

If a lot younger, I'd join them.
