ADL reports record increase in antisemitic incidents. But is that data trustworthy?

The American Defamation League (ADL) released its annual audit of antisemitic incidents this week, showing its highest number of “antisemitic” incidents in the organization’s 46-year history, with 9,354 alleged events.

The new report covers all of 2024, using the same database and methods that I’ve raised alarms about in the previous two years of this report.

Since October 2023, the ADL has included opposition to Zionism, as well as support for resistance against Israel and Zionists, as perceived support for terrorism and attacks on Jews.
